How to connect Sleqk to Gemini
On a paid Google AI plan, Gemini can use Sleqk as a custom app and plan your outfits from your own wardrobe. Here are the steps and what to check first.
Before you start
You need a Sleqk account with a few pieces in your collection, and a paid Google AI plan such as Google AI Pro. On the free Gemini plan, Google does not show the option to add a custom app, so Sleqk can't be connected there.
Google also asks for a personal Google account, not a work or school one, and Keep Activity switched on. Google is rolling custom apps out by country and language; if you don't see the option below, your account doesn't have it yet.
Connect in four steps
1. On gemini.google.com, open Settings & help, then Connected Apps.
2. Under Custom apps, choose Add a custom app.
3. Paste https://mcp.sleqk.com/mcp as the MCP server URL and choose Next. If Gemini asks how to sign in, choose OAuth and leave the client ID and secret empty.
4. A Sleqk page opens. Sign in, review what Gemini may do, and choose Allow.
Ask this first
'Use Sleqk: what should I wear to my dinner on Saturday?'
'Add a wedding in Lisbon on 14 November and plan an outfit from my Sleqk collection.'
'What's the forecast for it?'
If something goes wrong
No Custom apps section: you are on the free plan, a work or school account, or Keep Activity is off. Check those three first.
The Sleqk sign-in page doesn't open, or stops with an error: try again in a regular browser window, not a private one, and make sure you are signed in to the Sleqk web app.
'Reconnect Sleqk to grant it': remove Sleqk under Connected Apps and add it again.
Questions people ask
Does Sleqk work on the free Gemini plan?
No. Google only offers custom apps on paid Google AI plans, so connecting Sleqk needs one, such as Google AI Pro.
Can I use it in the Gemini phone app?
Yes. Once added on gemini.google.com, the custom app works in the Gemini app with the same account.
Does Gemini get my photos?
It sees photos of your clothes when it shows outfit ideas. It never gets photos of you: try-on images stay in Sleqk.
