How to digitize your closet in one evening
A digital closet is only useful once it can make outfits. Here is the order that gets you there in one evening: what to photograph first, how to sort it and when to stop.

Why most people give up after ten pieces
Digitizing a closet sounds like a weekend job. Most people start with the pieces on top of the pile, photograph twenty tops and stop. Twenty tops make no outfits. The app feels empty and the habit dies.
The trick is to photograph a mix first and the volume later. Three tops and three bottoms already give you three different outfits. A dress counts as both. Once the app can dress you, adding the rest feels like a reward instead of homework.
The first evening, step by step
Step 1. Pick the six pieces you actually wear most. Three tops and three bottoms, or swap a pair for a dress. Add one pair of shoes you wear with all of them.
Step 2. Photograph each piece flat on a bed or hung on a door, in daylight if you can. You do not need a clean background. Sleqk removes it and turns the photo into a clean product-style image with the colour, fabric and category filled in.
Step 3. If a piece is already on you, photograph the whole outfit in the mirror. Sleqk splits it into separate pieces, so one photo can add a top, trousers and shoes at once.
Step 4. Sort later. Put pieces into collections like Work or Weekend whenever you feel like it. A closet with no collections still makes outfits.
Then let it dress you
Add one real event, a dinner on Friday or a wedding next month, with the city and the date. The stylist builds complete outfits only from your own pieces and checks that day's weather. Pick one and see it on your own photo before you get dressed.
After that, add pieces as they come out of the wash. Bags, watches, jewellery and sunglasses count too. The stylist uses everything you wear, not just clothes.
Questions people ask
How long does it take to digitize a closet?
About a minute per piece once you have a rhythm. Six well chosen pieces take one evening and are enough for your first outfits. The rest can come in batches over the next weeks.
Do I need a white background or good lighting?
No. Daylight helps the colour come out true, but Sleqk removes the background for you.
Is a digital closet private?
In Sleqk your collection is private to you. Photos are stored in the EU and never used to train any model. Deleting your account takes one tap.
