Why we built the simplest wardrobe app we could

Most closet apps ask for an hour of typing before they help you get dressed. Sleqk asks for a photo. Here is why simple is the whole point.

The app that takes an hour before it helps

Ask anyone who has tried a closet app and you will hear the same story. They photographed ten pieces. Then they typed a name, a colour, a category and a season for each one. An hour later they had a tidy list and still no idea what to wear on Thursday. Most of them never opened the app again.

That is not a lack of willpower. The app asked for work before it gave anything back. Getting dressed already takes too much thinking. An app that adds more has failed at the one job it had.

Simple is a decision

Sleqk is built on one rule. The most important styling features should work in the simplest way possible. Every screen has to earn its place. If a step can be done for you, Sleqk does it.

Simple does not mean less. It means the hard work happens behind the screen instead of on it.

Adding a piece takes one photo

Photograph a piece or a whole batch of pieces. You can even upload a photo of an outfit you love and Sleqk finds each item in it. Sleqk removes the background, reads the category, colour, fabric and formality, and files the piece in your closet.

There is no form to fill in. You can change any tag if you want to. You never have to.

Getting dressed starts with the event

Tell Sleqk where you are going and when. A client meeting in Brussels on Tuesday. A wedding in Florence in June. The stylist reads the weather for that day and builds complete outfits from your own pieces. Shoes, bags, watches and jewellery included. It never suggests anything to buy.

Want a different direction? Say it in one line. "More relaxed." "Keep the trousers." That is the whole control panel.

Deciding means seeing it on you

The last question is always the same: will it look right on me? Sleqk shows the outfit photoreal on your own photo before you get dressed. Every render is clearly labelled as AI-generated.

One app from closet to mirror

Most people use three tools to get dressed for something that matters. Their memory for what they own. A calendar for the event. A mirror and a lot of changing for the result. Sleqk closes that loop in one place. Your digital closet, the outfit planned for the event and that outfit on you.

If you already plan your week in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or Perplexity, Sleqk works there too. Ask your assistant what to wear and it answers from your own collection.

What we leave out on purpose

No shop. No brand feed. No ads. No badges pushing you to open the app. Your photos are stored encrypted in the EU and never used to train any model. One tap deletes your whole account.

Each thing we leave out is one less thing between you and getting dressed.

Try it in a minute

Sleqk is on iPhone, Android and the web and it is free to start. Tap through the real app at sleqk.com/walkthrough before you install anything. Sleqk is spelled S-L-E-Q-K and said "sleek".

Questions people ask

Do I have to tag my clothes myself?

No. Sleqk reads the category, colour, fabric and formality from the photo. You can edit any tag if you want to.

Is a simple wardrobe app less powerful?

No. The work still happens. It happens inside Sleqk instead of on your screen. You get the stylist, the planner, photoreal try-on and group voting without learning a new menu for each.

Is Sleqk free?

Sleqk is free to start. The free plan includes 10 AI credits and 10 AI style picks a month.
